Well, you can, but “pirating” them through .Torrent or another method, they are NOT abandonware, they are still sold today by their respective distribution companies

  • What is a port?

It’s an application that allows you to play games designed for old platforms on modern platforms (for example, Doom was designed to work in MS-DOS, that has not been supported since 2002), notably on Windows 10 1709, Ubuntu 16.04.3 (or your favorite Linux distro) or macOS High Sierra, besides adding properties that we can find in modern games (like AA, AF, SSAO, etc)

  • What is Zandronum?

It’s a Doom port (based on another port, GZDoom) focused on Multiplayer…

  • What is nQuake?

It’s a package that includes the port ezQuake plus some add-ons. The ezQuake installation will download only the minimum files needed to play. The nQuake installation will download: ezQuake, graphical improvements, “pro-gaming” configuration files, bots, crosshairs and many other things

  • Are there  Unreal Tournament ports?

Not because the source code was never made public because it contains third-party code. Anyway, there are patches developed by the community and updated DirectX and OpenGL .DLLs

  • Are there Unreal Tournament 2004 ports?

Not for the case discussed above, however, the original 3369 patch includes a 64-bit DirectX 9 .DLL that allows us to play today
